What I Can Do: Experience during a Calamity

       Super Typhoon Goni, the world's most powerful tropical cyclone in 2022, hit Luzon on November 1, 2020, bringing torrential rainfall, severe winds, mudslides, and storm surges. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the typhoon, locally known as Rolly, left extensive destruction and damage in its path, killing at least 25 people, injuring 399, and affecting 2 million people in 8 of the country's 17 regions (DSWD). Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novel are part of modern literary genres presently used by 21st-century writers.    Doodle Fiction a literary presentation where the author incorporates doodle drawings and handwritten graphics in place of the traditional font.      Manga a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels, typically aimed at adults as well as children. Graphic Novel a novel in comic-strip format.    Differences of  Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novel in Terms of Structure         Graphic novels are generally stand-alone stories with more complex plots. It is drawn in a particularly Americanized graphic style. Manga refers to a wide range of pictures Japanese produced and published comic books. Both graphic novels and manga are read from left to right.      Flash Fiction is a story narrated in an extremely brief way, but still offers plot and character development and implies a larger story. It could range from a word to a thousand. Varieties of flash fiction identified by word count include six-word stories (6 words), dribble or minisaga (50 words), 280-character story or twitterrature (280 words or a story in one tweet) drabble or microfiction (100 words), sudden fiction (750 words) and flash fiction (1,000 words).        Doodle Fiction is a literary presentation where the author incorporates doodle writing, drawings, and handwritten graphics in place of the traditional font. Doodles are simple drawings or random shapes and lines that may or may not have concrete representational meanings. These enhance the story, often adding humorous elements.            Doodle Fictions follow a novel or story book type of narration, unlike the Manga and Graphic Novels. Doodle fictions show both text and pictures in a way like articles are written, while, the comic book styles don't.      Comics are a narrative medium used to express ideas with images, often combined with text or other visual information. It typically takes the form of a sequence of panels of images. It is commonly seen in a comic-strip format.       In Japanese, it is called " manga ," which is a generic term for all comic books and graphic novels originally published in Japan.
